  • Yarn Dyed: Yarn dyed is before the carpet is manufactured. Yarn dying includes multicolored space dying and solid color yarn, or skein dye.

  • Beck Dyeing: Carpet is dyed in a piece, using a large beck or vat of water and dyestuff.
  • Continuous Dying: Involves the application of dyestuff as the carpet moves  in open width under the dye applicator.
  • Printing: Printing involves the application of colored dyestuff using inkjets, rollers, or screens onto the face of the carpet.
